I've only tried the chocolate flavour and it is great. Very strong chocolate taste, almost a dark chocolate taste. Texture very good with no discernible effects on my stomach. I use it as a snack/emergency hunger food and is has definitely helped preventing my weight gain stopping or going in reverse during very hectic busy days where there is not enough time always to eat properly.

Can't wait to try chocolate orange!

I have tried a few protein bars and this is one of the best!
It may be a little expensive compared to other bars, but you are paying for a brand that you know you can trust!
The bar tastes quite nice, although it is not what you expect; it has a texture like chewing gum and takes a few mintes to eat a whole bar!
All in all, this is an excellent bar. I have had dark chocolate flavour and now I can't wait to try chocolate orange!

I've heard that these are quite popular, no doubt due to the popularity of the Maximuscle brand, but unfortunately I'm not that taken with these. Granted they do have a good fat to protein ratio (i.e low fat/high protein) in comparison with other protein bars on the market, but I found them too hard to bite into, kind of akin to chewing on molten plastic really.

N.B this review was based upon the choc orange variety
