Summary

Bio Engineered Whey Protein Complex For Lean Muscle Growth
Pharma Whey HT+ is one of the nation’s favourite Whey Protein products, supplying a bio-engineered whey protein complex that has made the product one of the industry leaders. Pharma Whey HT+ is a high protein dietary supplement that has been designed to help support the growth of lean muscle mass and muscle maintenance and is a “must have” sports nutrition product for all serious athletes.

Along with hydrolysed whey protein isolate, Pharma Whey HT+ also contains whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate, two premium forms of quality whey protein. Whey protein (isolate, hydrolysed and concentrate) is a complete protein that contains all 20 amino acids and all nine essential amino acids (i.e. amino acids that must be obtained in the diet because the body cannot make them using other amino acids). Its protein digestibility corrected amino acid score is 1.14, as compared to 0.94 for beef protein, and its BV is 104, compared to 100 for eggs. Whey protein contains especially high concentrations of amino acids that are metabolized at high rates during exercise, most notably glutamine and leucine.

Many other so-called “premium” whey protein products on the market will contain ingredients such as hydrolysed glutamine peptides (derived from wheat protein) which, whilst being a solid and effective protein source, it does not belong in a premium quality whey protein-only product. PhD use hydrolysed wheat protein in our Pharma Pro-3 and Pharma Blend 6HR products as both of these are “protein blends” and contain a variety of protein sources, stacked together to create a combined and positive
effect on lean muscle growth and maintenance.

Pharma Whey HT+ is simple to mix (can be stirred to mix) and contains added branched chain amino acids and L-Glutamine. Pharma Whey HT+ uses only whey protein sources to ensure that each drink is delivered quickly into the hungry muscle cells awaiting replenishment and lean muscle growth. Combined with an even better, creamy taste, Pharma Whey HT+ truly stands as one of the most popular and widely used whey protein products in the UK.

Pharma Whey HT+ is ideal for:

Body builders and Strength athletes

Team sports participants

Fighters and mixed martial artists

All athletes seeking lean muscle growth

Ive used plenty of proteins in the past, some good, some not so good.
I was going to buy my usual whey/creatine mix when i saw the reviews for this.
Its cheap compared to certain other brands, its nutrition info seems sound and it really does mix perfectly in a shaker. the vanilla creme is genuinely tasty too.
I'm noticing improvements in my physique and recovery too,
I am well and truly sold.
believe the other reviews, this is a crackin' product
will be my protein of choice from now onwards!

Q & A

Q. Hi there,

I have recently commencing a strength training programme (3 days a week) along with 2 days of cardio work. Is this product suitable for muscle gain & toning without putting on the weight? If not, can you recommend an alternative please?

Thanks
A.

It is perfectly fine if you can consume some sort of carbs with it in the form of maltodextrin post workout for example. Your diet also would be the main thing ensuring you don't gain too much weight (unwanted body fat) so monitor that weekly to ensure you aren't over consuming calories or consuming less than you need.

Q. when is the sell by date on this?
A.

March 2013

Q. Hi Phil,
I am 15 years old and over the last year i have being trying to bulk up. I recently starting taking Pvl mutant mass. It has helped me put on about half a stone and i still have about a half a bag of it left. However i have put on quite a bit of fat around by abs, i used to be able to see the four upper abs and now i can only see the upper two. After i am going to try shred some fat from around my waist to try and get my abs back but i do not want to lose the muscle i have added. I was thinking of using PHD pharma whey. Taking one scoop three or four servings a day. I am wanting to build more muscle while losing fat. I play rugby twice a week and try go to the gym once or twice a week doing mostly bench, deadlifts, squats, lat row machine then an ab routine. Would this be beneficial to do this. Also i was thinking of maybe taking lean degree during summer, however i have read fat burners can have bad effects is this true. Thanks Cammy
A.

To put on muscle mass, unless you're just starting out, you'll have to gain some fat along with the muscle because you need extra calories to gain. So stick with a weight gainer or eat lots of food and use the Pharma Whey.

When it comes time to cut, just use a high protein diet (Pharma Whey) and gradually cut your carbs until you're losing 1 or 2 pounds per day. You should avoid fat burners at your age.
