Summary
Why PhD Wired?
There are many pre-workout drinks, even pre-workout encapsulated formulas on the market, however none of them can lay claim to providing an ingredient listing as comprehensive as Wired. The group of ingredients within Wired named Neuro-Vol-6, contains 6 synergistic ingredients that may increase strength, power and short-term explosive energy.
Nitric Oxide Synthase: Wired contains the latest Nitric-Oxide potentiator, Arginine AKG. In order for the body to produce Nitric Oxide it needs, amongst other compounds, the amino acid Arginine. Once released, Nitric Oxide causes vasodilation (a widening of the blood vessel linings) allowing the muscles to become flooded with blood and nutrients, therefore creating the much sought after “Pump”, which increases the swollen appearance and vascularity of a muscle.
Focus & Concentration: Wired contains a dual-action neuro-blend aimed at maximum exercise performance through optimising focus and concentration
Stimulation & Intensity: Wired contains synergistic amounts of Caffeine, L-Tyrosine, Glucoronolactone and DMAE, designed to maximise stimulation prior to intense exercise. Use of Caffeine will provide the alertness vital to athletic performance.
Muscle Protection system: Wired contains a full BCAA profile along with added L-Glutamine. BCAA’s are included within Wired to maximum muscle protection during intense exercise.

I was using superpump 250 before and thought there is nothing better but i was wrong. Wired got me feeling more focused during workouts, helped me with those last few reps and didn't cause that jittery feeling I sometimes got with other preworkout products. Over all , my favourite now.

I usually drink it when you feel you dont want to workout. In my opinion it is better than Viper Extreme. I would definitly recommend it to anyone.

I had this on a freebie and loved it before my hardcore bootcamp classes. Used to keep me going for the hour, but since I ran out I never felt the same intensity to the classes. I think it made a difference, is expensive though

A great product which is similar to Maximuscle Viper Extreme. Mixes up easier than any other product I have seen, but to be honest I blend everything anyway. I have used the Spiked Citrus flavour, which needs to be consumed direct from the fridge as cold as possible; otherwise it can taste a bit nasty if its warm. Not too sure about the stimulant side of things, never really got that buzz feeling from this product. Overall very good, but way too expensive in my opinion, oh and one last thing, you need to drink it 20mins before exercise to get the best from it.

Will have to give this a bit more time to form a genuine opinion.
Havent noticed an energy burst that i got from Viper Extreme but do seem more focused on a workout so somethings working.
Lime flavour tastes like cold Beechams so will try orange next time.
Q & A
- Q. Howsit
I was just wondering if there are any side or long term affects?? - A.
This is a moderate stimulant / amino acid product. The only potential side effects could be expected would be no different that a cup or two of coffee.

Was thinking of buying wired for a pre-workout supplement. I have had VPX shotgun already and found it was incredible.
Just wanted to find out who has used both these products and which one you think is the better...
cheers! - A.
PhD has a new pre-workout product called V-Max Pump, which has one of the strongest formulas in this category. I would suggest this one or the NaNO Vapor Fruit Punch, which is on sale currently.
