- Q. i have a slight problem getting gloves that do the job for me as i had an operation on my left hand ie i have a metalplate in it and know have a fixed wrist ie is permantly straight so when i bench all the strane is put on the joint between the thumb and index finger on thet hand,as your glove says it has padding on the thumb is that on the joint ie at the bottom of the v if you can help it would be brilliant thanks

The whole of the palm of the glove is padded down to the join of the wrist. Platinum Lifting. Cloves seem to be slightly thicker padding on the palm but either way, hands down the best quality gloves on the market.
