Description

2.2kg Strawberry dated 07/14

When Muscle Milk was first introduced, we attempted to emulate human mother’s milk, one of nature’s most anabolic, complete and balanced foods. In doing that, Muscle Milk created a new category of protein products, while setting a new standard for both taste and performance. As a result, Muscle Milk has become America’s favourite protein drink.

Precision protein blend Muscle Milk contains a precise blend of proteins designed to create the optimal environment for exercise recovery and muscle growth. This precision protein blend contains rapid-releasing whey and slower digesting micellar caseins from milk protein isolate/concentrate plus calcium and sodium caseinates. This creates a constant supply of amino acids, the building blocks of muscle tissue.

Choose the right kind of fat! The Lean Lipids used in Muscle Milk are more likely burned for muscle energy and heat than stored as fat. Medium chain triglycerides (MCT), the pre-digested, fast-burning fats help provide the caloric energy needed to fuel exercise and recovery. Polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids from canola and sunflower oil provide essential omega-3, 6, and 9 fatty acids.

Choose carbohydrates wisely. Low-sugar, high-fibre complex carbs are an important part of a healthy, active lifestyle. The starch-based complex carbs found in Muscle Milk supply energy to the body in the form of glucose. Glucose is the only energy source for red blood cells and a preferred energy source for anaerobically exercising muscles.

Q&A
Q Is this a good protien thanks
A

Muscle Milk is a very well formulated product.

Q Is this product definately lactose and gluten free?
A

Yes, but there is an allergen warning included within the nutritional information, stating that the product is manufactured in an environment that also processes milk and wheat. It is necessary for companies to include this information, however; Muscle Milk can still be considered as free from lactose and gluten.

Q Hi
I want to know that is this product GLUTEN FREE or not?
Thanks
A

From what we can see on the container it dose not say gluten free so we recommend you contact the manufacture direct for accurate information.

Q Hi,
Any ideas of what the lactose content is like with this product?
Thanks
A

There are a few products contained inside which would contain lactose, but certain quantities we'd be unsure of, you'd have to contact the manufacturer to get a better idea of exact concentrations unfortunately.

Q Its the first time that I purchase protein. And I aim to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Would this protein be the right choice?
Thanks
A

You cannot lose fat and gain significant muscle mass simultaneously, I'm afraid - these will need to be treated as two separate goals, as the necessary mechanisms to achieve either result oppose one and other. Fat loss requires a calorie deficit; muscle gain involves an increase in calories/nutrients.

I would suggest that your preliminary focus be losing the body fat you desire. With regards to supplements, I would advocate PhD Nutrition Diet Whey 2kg, £39.99, to be taken inbetween three nutritionally balanced meals, and utilised in conjunction with regular exercise. You will increase muscle tone by following a consistent exercise regime; once you have lost the level of body fat you require, you can then look at altering your diet and exercise habits in order to attain lean muscle mass.

Diet Whey contains green tea extract and essential fatty acids (EFAs) from flaxseeds, and L-carnitine – all of which play an integral role in helping to metabolise unwanted body fat.

I hope the above information assists with your query.
