Directions
Add 2 scoops to 300-350ml in a hand held shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Allow to settle for 45 seconds before drinking. Have 2-3 servings daily (including 1 serving 1 hour prior to bed time). Servings may be halved. Allergen information contains milk protein and soy protein.

Taste is good in comparison to other proteins I have tried and does mix well. To those complaining about lack of gains I'm afraid that is dependant on your genetics, training and diet as a whole- this is only protein powder!

Love that supp. I only drink it b4 bed time. 7days a week. Improves my recovery in a long run. Capputino is soooo good! Usually slow relise protein gives me stomach problems, but IGF 1 Protein is very well absorbed, so as soon as im awake im ready 4 big breakfast!

Love this stuff, has helped alot with cravings whilst been on my Pre-contest Diet also is great as it's super low carbs and fast and flow released proteins which is great for before bed and pre/post workout. will be using in off season as well!!!! Great Stuff.

why does everyone go one about the taste? I've tried 5 different types of protein supplements from hard gainers to pure proteins and never put a pound on. I'm not bothered what they taste like if i see some physical improvement!

This is a fairly decent protein , tastes ok (chocolate) not too sweet , doesn't mix that well however , its a little blobby. Reflex and PHd are both superior , mix very easily and have higher protein content for about 2 pounds extra. Wouldn't buy again but its reasonable.

i think this stuff is great......am on my 5th tub! It mixes so well, giving a smooth tastey shake. with regards to the flavours...i have tried them all, i think that the chocolate one is the nicest followed by vanilla, then strawberry. dont get me wrong strawberry is still good especially in comparison to other strawberry shakes ive tried e.g. cyclone. but chocalate and vanilla are excellent. highly recommended. good gains. very happy :-)

Brilliant stuff, Id used Maximuscle previously and this mixes really well and is not so gritty. When I ordered I ideally wanted vanilla as this flovour is usually easier to stomach, but as it wasnt in stock had the chocolate..glad i did, its lovely.

- Q. I've just starting training again after a break of a few years and want to lose a bit of weight to start with and tone up as i'm naturally a big guy and the size will come once I'm back into it a decent routine. Currently using Gaspari Myofusion but was wondering if something like the USN would be more suited as it might be absorbed slower and I'm only taking one measure a day.

IGF-1 is a combination protein whereas Myofusion is a standard whey protein. If you are going longer than 3hrs+ without a source of protein then we would recommend using USN IGF-1 for a slower release of protein.

The protein sources you are using are fine as both contain high quality protein with very minimal carbs.
Most people look to stack a quality protein with a fat burner like:-
Grenade
Lipo 6 black
Hydroxycut Hardcore
which will help you burn calories more efficiently and help decrease your weight.
We would recommend using IGF 1 in between meals to fill the gaps and immediately post work out.
Please refer to manufactures directions of use for this product. - Q. I am confused at the scoop size which come with the protein. It is 50g which means 2 scoops is 100g. Advises 56g per serving. Does this mean to use one scoop??

Don't worry about what the scoop says, just follow the instructions on the label as to how many scoops to use.

Yes, it already contains some L-glutamine. Probably the best thing to stack it with for muscle and strength gains is some kind of creatine product - use Cell-Tech for the fastest gains in mass or a powdered creatine or Creakic for lean gains.

Many people e-mail us and want to gain muscle without gaining fat. This is possible when you just start out training or when you come back from time off the gym and possibly if you have fantastic genetics.
BUT outside of the above scenarios, you are NOT going to gain muscle without gaining some fat!
To make maximum muscle gains, you have to also gain some fat because you have to be eating more calories than you are burning. So you have to decide whether you want to make big, fast gains or moderate, slow gains (or possibly no gains at all) by trying to stay lean while gaining muscle.
If you want fast gains, take a Weight Gainer (like Mutant Mass or Mass-Tech) along with some kind of creatine product (the Mass-Tech already includes creatine). For slower gains but less gains in fat, go with a low-calorie product which also contains other muscle-building ingredients, such as Nitro-Tech or Synergy Iso-7.
The relative amount of fat and muscle you gain will also depend upon your training intensity and duration and your particular genetics (whether you gain fat easily).

Anabolic would always be best after training because it has a good whack of carbs and creatine along with the protein. Also, to make faster gains, Anabolic is better because it has the carbs, creatine and extra calories from those.
If you're taking the Pure Protein only, take it first thing in the morning (just before breakfast), unless you have a big serving of eggs with breakfast. Whey protein is the best protein from a muscle-building, post-workout, health, recovery, etc point of view. However, you may benefit from a protein blend product (which includes whey) if you go long periods without protein or if you don't eat a high-protein meal shortly before bed. Whey feeds amino acids to the muscle for about 4 hours, after that it will have been fully digested, whereas blends can continue to deliver aminos to the bloodstream for over 10 hours.
