Reflex Nutrition Creatine Monohydrate

Creapure Creatine is the only choice for those who want a research proven safe source of Creatine
Read more...

Description
Creatine naturally occurs in the body; it is present in every human cell and functions as an energy store. Depending on body weight and muscle mass, the body stores between 100 and 150gms of Creatine, of which about 2 to 4 grams are used every day for normal activity. Half of the required Creatine is produced by the body itself, the rest must be obtained daily from food. For an optimal supply of Creatine, 500g of raw meat or raw fish must be consumed every day. Because this is hardly feasible in practice, supplementary Creatine makes sense and is recommended.

The subject of more than 300 studies, it is one of the most researched of all supplements. Creatine Monohydrate is universally recognized as offering the potential to increase maximal strength and endurance by up to 15% in speed sports as well as intensive weight training, even in the short term. Improvement can be as high as 20% for maximal strength in interval training; approximately 30% for power increase and energy release in short sprints and up to 15% in training for repeated sprints. Creatine intake also results in improved concentration, higher endurance in training and faster recovery.

Creatine Monohydrate is ideal for a broad range of sports people; from bodybuilders through to those who need explosive power in their chosen sport or those involved in speed sports. There are a broad variety of Creatines available on the market today and it is critical that you choose a research proven safe source.

What makes Creapure Creatine different from the competition?
Whilst there are many different forms of Creatine available on the market today, Creapure is the only Creatine in the world to be consistently tested free from impurities and by-products. Manufactured by AlzChem of Germany, Creapure Creatine is the only choice for those who want a research proven safe source of Creatine. This is especially important since other sources of Creatine potentially contain impurities and by-products including Creatinine (CRN), dicyandiamide (DCD), Dihydrotriazine (DHT) and Thiourea.

Q&A
Q all i would like to know is do u u have to do a loading phase with this product . and how do u load it
A

Creatine powder has a 5 day loading phase of which you take 20g per day for the first 5days in 4 separate 5g servings. All this is explained on the label of the product.

Q Can I take creatine powder (Reflex Creapure Creatine Monohydrate), BCAA (Dymatize BCAA Complex 5050) and protein powder (Mutant Mass) together, all in one shake? Will it not affect the absorption of the BCAA's and Creatine?
A

It is completely fine to combine all these supplements at the same time.

Q can I take Reflex Creapure Creatine with orange juice, I have read that the the citrus in orange juice will destroy the creatine making it a wast of time taking it, is this true?
A

Whoever told you that has proven once again that a "little" information in the wrong hands is dangerous. It is true that acidic drinks can cause creatine to break down into creatinine more quickly but it still takes several days (or even weeks) for this process to occur to any significant extent when creatine is left in such a liquid. So go ahead and mix it with OJ.

Q Hi I usually mix whey protein with homemade smoothie (generally with Avacado or Banana or Strawberry) to get better taste. I have decided to give go for Reflex whey protein and also Creapure Creatine. Now can I mix these two products together and consume with smoothie or is it a bad idea? Is it necessary that creatine should always be consumed with water or juice? I am a sprinter and I focus on core stability exercise.
A

Certainly these two can be mixed together, it is not necessary that the creatine be taking with simple sugars like fruit juice it just helps its uptake, however considering you are consuming this with a banana or strawberry or fruits in general then you are effectively taking it with a simple sugar in the form of fructose.

Q Hi i've been told that reflex do the best stuff creatine wise would you agree? i want the best stuff you see
A

For pure powdered creatine, look for the creapure symbol on the package (Reflex, Sportpharma, and Vyomax use creapure off the top of my head). This means it is the highest quality creatine from the biggest German manufacturer.

Q hi im using universal nutrition creatine, can i just follow on with reflex or do i have to load up again?
A

Both of these are high-quality powdered creatine products, so no need to re-load. However, some research shows that it may be a good idea to re-load from time to time (every 12 weeks or so) unless you are taking at least one 5 gram serving on non-training days and two 5 gram servings on training days (one serving being with you post-exercise shake).

Q Hi thanks for the reply. I always try and read up reviews before purchasing a product, I didn't find a great deal of reviews on the matrix but the ones I had found were not bad and I thought for the price it maybe worth a try. (received my whey matrix, tastes great just like milkshake, low fat, low carbs, 23g protein and 148kcals) I was currently using Muscle Fuel Anabolic prior, but have also tried Weider Crash Gain, Protein and Carbs + and USN protein product. Somebody said to be to avoid high carb foods, and said to make more protein and calories my priority in order to gain mass, is this right? As my metabolism has always been quite high, I find it a struggle to gain weight and it's taken best part of 6 months to gain 1 stone and I am still quite thin / slim in size, I am noticing shape and train 4/5 days a week workign different body parts each day. Can you point me in the right direction as to best supplements to use for size / mass / muscle?
A

Carb restriction is for people with slower metabolisms or who are trying to get lean. If you have a fast metabolism and try to gain muscle on a low-carb diet, you are almost certain to fail. Go for a quality weight gainer like Mutant Mass or Mass-Tech. Add creatine to the Mutant (the Mass-Tech already contains it). You could also combine a protein supplement with a creatine product like Cell-Tech or Mutant Cre-X12, for fast gains in size and strength.

Q Hi there, I am currently using instant mass and natural whey, thinking about using creating with the instant mass because of its level of carbs etc. However can you tell me whether or not creatine has been shown to increase break outs or create acne in individuals? cheers
A

The ONLY confirmed side effects of creatine, according to several safety reviews and over 3000 scientific studies are: 1) weight gain 2) increased strength 3) anaerobic muscle endurance. Any other reported side effect is just speculation. So be assured that it does not cause acne.

Q Hi when i take creatine i seem to get wound up and feel quite low! have you ever come across this before?
A

Of the thousands of studies on creatine, these have not been mentioned as being typical side effects and I haven't heard it in my 20 years in the industry. The only known side effects of creatine are increased muscle mass, strength, power, muscle endurance and some studies indicate that some of that increased muscle mass may be water. Any other side effects have not been legitimately shown to be caused by creatine.

Q Hi, i just wondered how much 5g of creatine is in relation to a tea spoon?
A

5 grams is about one heaping teaspoon

Q Hi, I normally take a protein shake with a pre work out (jack3d) when I train. However as I am looking to bulk up, I have now added to my supps - Whey Matrix Protein, Multi Vits & Fish Oils, Continuing to use Jack3ed and have just purchased Reflex Creatine ... Am I ok to take with the above already mentioned? Also would it be better to mix with the protein or with the pre work out drink? Thanks ina dvance
A

Not sure about the Whey Matrix Protein (doesn't get very good reviews and the ingredients don't make sense) but better than nothing. What protein were you using with the Jack3d - as the Matrix is just a higher-carb protein blend? Have the multi and the fish oil either with breakfast or dinner. Have the creatine post-workout with whey (or the Matrix if you don't have pure whey) and if your goal is bulking, have as many carbs as you can handle after or with your post-workout shake. This will improve creatine, carbohydrate and protein uptake into the muscle for faster, more complete recovery.

Q HI, loading is discussed quote often when taking creatine products. How much should be taken and how often when loading to get the best results?
A

Take 20g for the first 5 days over 4 5g servings then 10g per day everyday after to maintain.

Q how do you take this product? i do not have no knowlege of taking creatine supplements .
A

Q how do you take this product? i do not have no knowlege of taking creatine supplements .
A

Take 3 to 5 grams (slightly heaping teaspoon)4 times per day for the first 5 days and then 3 to 5 grams once or twice per day thereafter (best to take 2 on training days and 1 on non-training days). Take it with a protein plus carb shake (at least 50 grams of carbs unless dieting) ideally. If not, take it just before a high-carb meal with water or juice (or any other drink with sugar). There is no need to cycle off creatine or drink huge amounts of water, etc...

Q I have been using CellMass for 5 weeks and do not like it, can I just go back on Mono straight away? Good idea to load? Also does this need to be cycled to be effective?
A

You should load if you have been off creatine for a month or more. You may also benefit from loading again from time to time and then just taking one serving on non-training days and two on training days with one being after training with whey protein and carbs or a post-wokout drink. Monohydrate is very effective if taken with a big meal or shake that contains lots of carbs (at least 75 grams) and the addition of protein further increases uptake and retention in the muscles. Fo max results, try Cell-Tech - this has long been the favourite for big, quick gains in muscle mass and strength and still sells as well today as it did 10 years ago.

Q I would like to know if this is the most pure creatine, My partner is having side effects from some brands, including acne.
A

Yes, Creapure is the purest brand. In over 3000 scientific studies, creatine has never been shown to cause acne (or any other side effects except for muscle growth, strength gains and, in a small minority, stomach upset). So it is very unlikely that the acne was caused by creatine (creatine doesn't alter hormones, bacteria levels or sebacious gland activity - which is what causes acne).

Q Just wanted to ask i think a small tub wud last about 3 weeks. How long wud you have to take this product to get the full benefits from it
A

That depends on genetics/nutrition and training we cannot really put a time frame on "results" as there are so many different parameters you can change.

Q What creatine product would you reccomend most? and what have the greater effect taking it as a drink or tablet?
A

Cell-Tech is at least as good as any other for gains in mass and strength. Creakic are probably the best tablets. A creatine formula will have more dramatic effects because it has a large amount of carbs which isnt possible in a tablet.

Q What liquid would you reccomend mixing this product in to achieve maximum absorbtion of the creatine?
A

Already answered??

Q What other benefits does creatine give me apart from added energy? is it beneficial taking it in the morning?
A

Creatine builds muscle and strength and helps with power (sprinting, etc)

Q whens the best time to consume creatine?
A

Morning, pre-workout (a smaller amount, without carbs) and post-workout.

Q Can I take this while I'm taking HICA-Max from labrada? Is it good or bad?
A

Yes you can combine the two, this would be a perfect stack for lean muscle gain or maintaining muscle whilst dieting.

Q do you still take 5g on your rest days? and do you keep your results if you stop taking creatine?
A

It is not absolutely necessary to take creatine on rest days, though this comes down to a matter of opinion. Some fitness experts advocate consistent intake, in order to replenish creatine reserves, but essentially, taking 5g on workout days will be effective in helping to increase endurance and muscular strength.

Q does this product come with a shaker??
A

Not unless the website says so (and I'm not aware that it does).

Q hi im taking promax deit for breakfast and as an after training shake/ lunch can i mix this creatine product in with the promax shakes? as ive been told creatine works better when mixed with carbs or protein? cheers
A

Yes you can add creatine straight into your shakes. Creatine is better taken in with a carb + protein shake as carbs increase insulin which increases creatine retention in the muscle.

Q how many times a day should you take it
A

4 teaspoons per day for the first 5 days (ideally with a large amount of carbohydrates/sugar ideally also with a protein). and then 1 to 2 tesoons daily. We suggest 2 on training days (with 1 right after training) and 1 on non-training days.

Q Im not looking to gain mass, but want to gain lean muscle. will creatine help me do this?
A

Creatine exclusively increases muscle size and strength. All the rubbish about bloating and water retention is not supported by the strong scientific evidence.

Q ive been using celltech in the high sugar levels have upset my bowels , would using this prodocut work out better
A

There's no substitute for large amounts of fast carbs to maximize muscle creatine retention. The next best thing without the sugar would be a creatine product with lipoic acid (which is just about the only other thing that increases creatine retention). Try Cell-Tech Power Packs or Creakic tablets.
