Fusion is a technological breakthrough from Reflex Nutrition and our partners in New Zealand. Resulting work both in New Zealand and in the U.K have enabled full-scale production of a protein product that provides unmatched levels of growth factors and immunoglobins. Fusion is designed to promote increased gains in lean mass and strength that are not commonly associated with most whey protein products.

Fusion is an industry first by providing 10,000mgs of New Zealand Dairy Colostrum per serving - a complex mixture of growth factors and immunoglobins. In a recent study(1) the equivalent of just two servings of Fusion a day were shown to provide superior gains in lean mass when compared to whey protein. This is almost certainly the result of colostrum's proven ability to raise IgF-1 levels in trained athletes(2).

Colostrum's Components:

• Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 and 2- Bovine(Cow) Colostrum contains one of the highest sources of IgF-1 found in nature, both bovine and human growth factors have demonstrated anabolic ability to stimulate protein synthesis and inhibit protein breakdown.
• Transforming Growth Factors - Of special interest because of their ability to promote normal cell growth and proliferation, tissue repair and wound healing. TfG's have up to 100 times more potency than those found in human Colostrum.
• IgG - Stimulates phagocytosis to neutralise toxins.
• IgA -Helps protect mucosal linings of the gastro-intestinal tract and reduce viral infections
• IgM - Enhances phagocytosis against micro-organisms.
• IgD - Stimulates B-cells to produce anti-bodies and reduce allergic and other reactions
• IgE - Reduces allergic reactions
• Lactoferrin - The iron inhibiting protein that reduces availability of iron to potentially harmful bacteria, that need iron for growth. Lactoferrin also has anti-inflammatory properties to help recover from sore muscles and joints.
• Interlukins- Research has shown that Colostrum contains Interlukin-2, one of the cytokine substances that stimulate the cells that make up the immune system and help reduce the chance of infection.
• Lysozyme - This special protein is not readily digested, but lives in the gastro-intestinal tract and prevents the multiplication of harmful bacteria by destroying their cell walls.
