Description
CNP Professional's Pro-Mass is not to be confused with cheap weight-gain powders, this is a scientific approach to gaining lean muscle mass for those with a fast metabolism or poor appetite. Pro-Mass contains a proprietary blend of undenatured proteins in the form of filterated whey and micellar casein with complex carbohydrates. It is low in saturated fat and lactose thus making it easier to digest. Pro-Mass can assist with supporting protein synthesis whilst reducing protein breakdown, due to it's optimum blend of fast and slow release protein.

Consuming six meals a day has been the standard practice when trying to add muscle mass, but for many people eating six solid meals daily can be difficult. Pro-Mass is an ideal solution when trying to meet the target of consuming six meals a day by simply replacing a solid meal. Pro-Mass Contains:

Maltodextrin - An easily digestible form of carbohydrate made from natural corn starch. Maltodextrin is the preferred carbohydrate used in energy foods due to its solubility, neutral taste profile, and quick absorption.

Fibre - An indigestible carbohydrate, which passes through the digestive system relatively unchanged and is considered essential for good gut function.

Cold-processed Whey Protein Concentrate - CNP's whey protein has been cold processed to retain key fractions in their native states that may be affected by other processing methods.

Micellar Casein - This is a premium form of Casein that has anti-catabolic effects, due to its slow uptake from the gut. This allows for a constant flow of amino acids to be on hand for the muscle to repair and grow.

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) - Medium chain triglycerides are easier to digest and more readily used for energy than other fats.

"after gaspari discontinued the old real mass. i tried a few other mass gainers.. they left my stomach upset gas and everything.

pro mass however tastes amazing. (chocolate). it does not bloat you like lots of other mass gainers. and i saw increase in strength and muscle mass . i take it in morning and before bed. the serving is small. and not ridiculous amount of scoops. the scoop size is small. have to shake vigoursly to mix this properly plus atleast 600ml water. do not use milk"

According to the order in which the ingredients appear on the label, there is more whey than casein but there is no way of knowing because the company keeps this info private.

With most weight gainers, start at 2 servings daily between meals. This one has a little less than 400 calories per serving so if you don't start gaining 1 kilo or so per week, then increase the serving size or add a third daily shake. It is best to take after training or any time between meals (or before breakfast if you don't have it immediately upon waking, before bed is an excellent time also).

Q hi, i want to start building muscle and size, im about 6ft 2/3 and about 11stone. some advice on what i should use and what exercises to do would be appreciated, thanks.

Gaining weight and size is achieved by increasing your daily intake of calories 7 days a week. A weight gainer & Creatine products are essential for helping to increase lean muscle mass and strength. Gainers like PVL - Mutant Mass or Muscle tech - Mass tech ( already contains creatine ) would be a good way to get some quality carbs and protein into your diet and add in those extra calories you need to grow. Creatine products such as PVL - Cre - X12 & muscletech - CellTech are fantastic products for gaining some incredible strength if added to a solid training routine and diet. So definitely get a gainer product and then you'd be advised to add a creatine product to it for faster, bigger gains. If you're trying to gain and you don't otherwise eat anything before bed...then Absolutely, yes...take every opportunity to take on calories!

According to the product's label, yes, it is suitable for vegetarians, though it also states that it may contain traces of fish (most probably because it's manufactured in an environment that also produces fish oil supplements).

Q Hi i am trying to gain good clean weight and hoping for a pound a week. I weight train and also box so train about 6 days a week. Would having this before bed with peanut butter be any help? I have igf 1 at the min with fruit and pnut butter and oatcakes before bed. thanks

It would definitely help as you are doing a lot of metabolic conditioning (with boxing) which is burning a lot of calories, pro-mass and peanut butter are very calorie dense which is perfect for your weight gain. If you find you are struggling to gain weight, just eat more.

Start with 2 scoops twice daily and increase scoops or number of servings until you are gaining 1 to 2 kilos per week - it's all about eating more calories than you burn!

Q Im trying to find the difference between mass building protein shakes and normal protein shakes im currently using CNP Professional Pro-Peptide twice a day, and want to know if using a another protein shakes like CNP Professional Pro-Mass and if its worth using them both together.

Choose either a Mass Gainer shake or a Protein Shake. Both have high levels of protein but the mass shake will have much more caloires and carbs, so that if you aren't gaining mass presently, the extra calories, along with protein, will help you pack on the size. So choose one or the other. If you have trouble getting in enough protein from your meals and shakes, then you can use a protein powder also.
