Digestive enzymes are activated and deactivated by the pH of our digestive system, which controls when and where digestion occurs. Modern living, digestive problems, exposure to environmental pollutants or taking medications can alter the pH of our digestive system, thus switching off the activity of our natural digestive enzymes.
The digestive enzymes sourced for our supplements are very stable, resist damage caused by stomach acid and are effective throughout the entire pH range of the gastrointestinal tract. Since this pH varies from very acid to alkaline, it is important to choose products that utilise modern technologies such as the CuraBlend™ process, which carefully selects multiple variants of proteases, amylases and lipases and blends these variants together, so they effectively break down proteins, carbohydrates and fats no matter which pH environment the enzymes are working in.
Dosing Instructions
For adults: Take 1 capsule daily with each meal, or as directed by your doctor or healthcare practitioner. For best results, take the capsule with the first bite of food from each meal so that the supplemental enzymes can get working on the food as soon as possible.
